edhub4democracy: ASEDG's collaborative platform enters its development phase

ASEDG announces the official launch of the development phase of its collaborative platform edhub4democracy.org — a free and secure digital space designed to connect actors in democracy and governance education around the world.

Conceived as a hub for exchange and resources, the platform aims to facilitate the sharing of best practices, support educational projects in a variety of democratic contexts, and foster international cooperation among teachers, trainers, civil society organisations and public institutions.

A platform open to the world

edhub4democracy is aimed at an international audience: teachers and trainers, youth organisations, NGOs, universities, and any citizen initiative seeking to strengthen democratic skills within its community. The platform will be available in several languages and will offer resources adapted to a wide range of cultural and institutional contexts.

Planned features include: a library of educational resources, a networking space for practitioners, online training modules, and a directory of local projects and initiatives.

A tool to support pilot projects

The platform will also play a central role in the rollout of ASEDG's pilot projects, particularly in Guatemala and Togo, by enabling the documentation and sharing of field experiences. Resources co-built with partner communities will gradually be integrated into the platform, benefiting the whole network.

The launch of a first version of the platform is planned for the end of 2026. Anyone wishing to contribute to its development or be informed of its launch is invited to get in touch with ASEDG.
